The ONZ – German Spine Specialists

Depending on the needs of each patient, these spinal surgeries are performed at either the Augusta Hospital (Hattingen) or Elisabeth Krankenhaus (Recklinghausen). Of utmost importance to our patients, these hospitals are fully equipped with the highest quality supportive infrastructure including MRI, CT and Ultrasound units. Rehabilitation & Physical Therapy Centre
The MEDICOS Rehab Centre
All SkyGen patients recovering from motion-preserving spine surgery will be up and moving around within 24 hours of their procedure. The first 7 days post-op will be spent as a hospital in-patient receiving in-house rehabilitation. After discharge they will travel to the Medicos Aufschalke Rehab Centre (pictured). This is the largest rehabilitation centre in Europe, and patients recuperate in comfort at the Marriott Hotel built into the centre. The Medicos philosophy is built around interaction between cardiologists, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, psychologists, sports scientists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists working towards all patients moving confidently by themselves as soon as possible.
